Hi there,

My name is Greta Mauch (she/her). I’m a writer, event planner, and communications/campaign strategist focusing on community building and equal opportunities.

I am currently working in event planning and communications at Sheila McKechnie Foundation, an organisation that provides training, toolkits, and awards for social change campaigners.

As of 2025, I have cofounded and serve as the Lead Organiser for Breathe Easy London, a COVID-safe event planning group that hosts monthly socials that allow Londoners to find community without risking Long COVID, social isolation, and death.

Additionally, I am an active member of Amnesty International UK’s Disabled People’s Human Rights Network, where I coordinate online and in-person events to educate on Disability rights issues and connect DPOs as well as aid in producing communications materials with the same goal.

I’ve also recently finished conducting research on Disability rights campaigning at the University of Westminster, where I received my MA in Media, Campaigning, & Social Change. Prior to this, I received my BA from American University in Public Relations and Strategic Communications with a concentration in Political Communication and a minor in Sociology (which I colloquially refer to as Strategic Communication of Sociology).

In the past, I have worked as a communications specialist at organizations focused on environmentalism, reproductive rights, and women's health equity. In the wake of Dobbs, I also independently researched and designed ICantAffordABaby.org, a resource directory website listing every financial and practical aid resource in the US for fertility, pregnancy, and parenthood.

With this experience, research, and education, I hope to bring attention to organizations that help society, whether that be through formal and grassroots campaigning, social media strategy, editorial/opinion writing, speechwriting, or anything else. If you or your organisation are looking for someone to do freelance work in communications, campaign strategy, or editorial writing for social or political activism, do take a look at my work below, my LinkedIn, and contact form.

Campaign Strategies

Sample Campaign Plan: Clean Cities

NOTE: This is a hypothetical campaign pitch. It was the final for my Strategic Campaign Communication class for my MA (May 2024), for which I received a distinction.

Sample Media Relations Plan: ICantAffordABaby.org
Sample PR Plan: Bethel Woods

NOTE: This is a hypothetical strategy pitch. It was the capstone for my undergrad degree in PR (May 2023), for which we received an A and were determined the winners of the class’s pitches by the client. It was developed in collaboration with Kate Mallove, Bekah Zornosa, and Rachel Roberts.
